This paper discusses the application of catalytic oxidation to four types of air-emission sources: ground-water stripping operations, graphic-arts facilities, flexographic printing plants, and latex-monomer production. Characteristics of each of these emissions are discussed, along with the catalytic technology used to control them. In addition to key emission-stream characteristics, the paper discusses hazardous air-pollutant characteristics that affect the applicability of catalytic oxidation.
