The document presents information on emissions of volatile organic compounds (VOC) from a miscellaneous metal parts coating facility in Shelby County, Tennessee. It may require technology that has been applied to similar, but not necessarily identical, source categories. It is not intended that extensive research and development be conducted before a given control technology can be applied to a source. However, short-term evaluation programs are considered an appropriate technology forcing aspect of RACT. The measures considered include: (1) use of add-on control equipment, (2) use of reformulated coatings, and (3) improved application methods.
