Heated effluent water from SRP nuclear reactors is discharged into streams and swamps on the plant site before flowing into the Savannah River. The present study presents temperature and flow descriptions of the effluent streams, swamps, and Savannah River. The thermal contribution of SRP to the river is well within the limits imposed by the South Carolina Pollution Control Authority.
