Weak electricity of the nucleon in the chiral quark-soliton model
- Institute for Theoretical Physics II, Ruhr-University Bochum, D-44780 Bochum (Germany)
The induced pseudotensor constant (weak electricity) of the nucleon is calculated in the framework of the chiral quark-soliton model. This quantity originates from G-parity violation and, hence, is proportional to m{sub u}{minus}m{sub d}. We obtain for m{sub u}{minus}m{sub d}={minus}5 MeV a value of g{sub T}/g{sub A}={minus}0.0038. {copyright} {ital 1997} {ital The American Physical Society}
