Hydrogen safety aspects for LWRS

This paper describes recent results produced at Sandia National Laboratories in a program to study hydrogen behavior in light water reactors. During the past year, new experimental facilities were produced, construction of new experimental facilities was completed, and additional analytical capability was developed. The paper is divided into sections dealing with deflagrations, diffusion flames, accelerated flames and detonations, and recent analytical accomplishments. Also, a bibliography of reports and papers completed in FY 83 is presented.
