The research activities done in FY 1982 on the Regional Wind Energy Assessment Program are described. This includes work completed in large area wind power prospecting and data collection and analysis. The discussion of wind data analysis includes the wind data network, climatological wind speed and energy analysis, and wind statistical analysis. Also discussed is a wind power prospecting helicopter survey over the entire state of Washington. (LEW)
