Patent ·
OSTI ID:5621574
A fuel vaporizing apparatus is disclosed wherein air admitted to the carburetor is pre-heated and mixed with vaporized water and then caused to vaporize and mix with fuel. The exhaust gases are passed through a heat exchanger located between the carburetor and the intake of the engine to further and more completely vaporize and mix the mixture of fuel, water and air to prevent condensation. The supply of water is controlled by the temperature and speed of the engine.
