We derive a semiclassical expansion of quantum spectral functions for integrable systems. This complements a previous analysis of chaotic billiards [B. Mehlig {ital et al.}, Phys. Rev. Lett. {bold 75}, 57 (1995)]. We discuss similarities and differences between the integrable and the chaotic case. As a numerical example, we consider a two-dimensional circular billiard. {copyright} {ital 1997} {ital The American Physical Society}
