Inclusive analysis of. pi. /sup -/p interactions in light-front variables

The inclusive structure functions of ..gamma.. rays, ..pi../sup + -/ mesons, K/sup 0/ mesons, and ..lambda../sup 0/ hyperons have been studied in ..pi../sup -/p interactions at beam momenta 5 and 40 GeV/c on the basis of experimental data from bubble chambers. The analysis of the experimental data is carried out by means of new kinematic variables xi/sup + -/ which are Lorentz-invariant dimensionless combinations of the momenta and energies of the particles participating in the reaction.
