This bibliography contains references concerning the aquatic and terrestrial environments of the Savannah River Plant, which has become a strong focal point of ecological research in the southeastern United States since its origin in the early 1950's. Although the bibliography is strongly oriented towards ecological studies, references from certain other scientific fields, such as hydrology, geology, geochemistry, meteorology, etc., are included. References in the bibliography are listed alphabetically by author and year and are cross-indexed according to four broad categories: (1) habitats; (2) descriptive data; (3) types of studies; and (4) component classification. In addition to the four categories listed above, two others, dissertations and theses and bibliographies, have been included to allow easy retrieval of information on graduate theses and bibliographies pertaining to the Savannah River Plant site.
