The ({ital e}{sup {minus}},{ital e}{sup +})-pair annihilation in the bound {sup 1}{ital S}{sub 0} state of the Ps{sub 2} molecule ({ital e}{sup {minus}}{ital e}{sup +}{ital e}{sup {minus}}{ital e}{sup +}) is studied. It is shown that the expectation values of the two-, three-, and four-body Dirac {delta} functions {l_angle}{delta}{sub +{minus}}{r_angle}, {l_angle}{delta}{sub ++{minus}}{r_angle} ({equivalent_to}{l_angle}{delta}{sub +{minus}{minus}}{r_angle}), and {l_angle}{delta}{sub ++{minus}{minus}}{r_angle} determine the photonless, one- and many-photon annihilation rates, i.e., the values of {Gamma}{sub 0{gamma}}, {Gamma}{sub 1{gamma}}, and {Gamma}{sub {ital n}{gamma}}, where {ital n}{ge}2. The appropriate analytical expressions are presented together with numerical estimates. As expected, the two-photon annihilation process dominates.
