Journal Article

· Energy J.; (United States)
The author indicates that the current energy policy of emphasizing market influences to reduce the government's role may preclude some conservation efforts because neither information nor competition is perfect. This justifies a government role of providing energy information and some incentives to consumers to help them make appropriate energy conservation investments. (DCK)
