A transformable hydroelectric station for a water storing dam is described having means for alternatively permitting incorporation and positioning of selected ones of a plurality of hydroelectric assemblies each comprising a machine individually designed to be fitted against the water passing means of the dam. Additionally, the water storing dam includes auxiliary equipment permitting maneuvering of the hydromotive assemblies when they are fitted to or removed from the main structural body of the dam.
