Extraction behavior of molybdenum using dihexyl-N,N-diethylcarbamoylmethylphosphonate

The extraction behavior of Mo from HNO/sub 3/ was studied using dihexyl-N,N-diethylcarbamoylmethylphosphonate. Distribution coefficients were measured as a function of contact time, concentration of Mo, HNO/sub 3/, NO/sub 3//sup -/ and extractant, and extraction temperature. Above 11 M HNO/sub 3/, Mo is appreciably extracted. 3 figures, 3 tables.
