Geology and geothermal potential of Susanville, Lassen County, California

Detailed geologic mapping is described in, and immediately surrounding, the City of Susanville in order to determine the pattern of complex faulting controlling the subsurface hydrologic character of the area, and to explore for hot springs or areas of hydrothermal mineral alteration, which might suggest additional geothermal systems.
