A parabolic reflector apparatus is described which consists of: support structure; a parabolic dish framework mounted upon the support structure; one or more support panels mounted on the framework, each of the support panels defining upon its upper surface a plurality of recesses, each of the recesses provided with attachment means for attaching one of reflectors to the support panels; a collector mounted on the framework; and reflectors, each reflector formed of a bowlshaped construction having a concave reflecting surface terminating in a rim defining a polygon, the sides of the rims of each reflector registerable with the sides of the rims of adjacent reflectors.
