Turboexpanders in energy saving processes

Turboexpanders have been used commercially for energy saving processing of industrial gases for more than 40 years. In addition the expander process provides high recovery, compact plant layout, utilizes ''free'' pressure drop in gas streams and flexibility of operation. The proven, modern, high efficient turboexpander is also making energy recovery from various waste heat sources economically feasible.
