The WPSR is intended to provide up-to-date information to the industry, the press, planners, policymakers, consumers, analysts, and State and local governments. It is published each Thursday by the Energy Information Administration (EIA). The data contained in this report are based on company submissions for the week ending 7 a.m. the preceding Friday.
