The Crystal Ball detector at the colliding-beam ring SPEAR has been used to study the pionic and radiative decays of the neutral charm meson D/sup *0/ in e/sup +/e/sup -/ annihilations at ..sqrt..s = 4.028 GeV. Measurements were made of several D/sup *0/ parameters. The D/sup 0/ mass was found to be m(D/sup 0/) = 1865.3 +/- 1.0 +/- 2.0 MeV, the D/sup *0/ - D/sup 0/ mass difference was found to be ..delta..m = 140.0 +/- 0.5 +- 1.5 MeV, and the D/sup *0/ branching ratio to pions was measured to be BR(D/sup *0/ ..-->.. ..pi../sup 0/D/sup 0/) = 53.1 +/- 3.4 +/- 9.1%. Additionally, some information was obtained on charm meson production cross-sections and combined production-and-decay angular distributions.
