Chiral-symmetry-breaking corrections in two-photon decays of pseudoscalar mesons

Chiral-symmetry-breaking corrections of order m/sub P//sup 2//m/sub V//sup 2/ to the main effect which arises from the axial-vector anomaly in ..pi../sup 0/, eta/sup 0/, and eta'/sup 0/..-->..2..gamma.. decays are estimated by using gauge invariance and vector-meson dominance, which holds at about the 25% level. The inclusion of these corrections requires a large eta-eta' mixing angleapprox. =-(25 +- 4)/sup 0/ and substantial violation of nonet symmetry for F/sub 8/ and F/sub 0/, the axial-vector decay constants for eta/sub 8/ and eta/sub 0/.
