/sup 82/Se(t,p)/sup 84/Se reaction at 17 MeV

Forty states of /sup 84/Se have been observed in the reaction /sup 82/Se(t,p), at a triton energy of 17 MeV. For most of them, J/sup ..pi../ values have been determined from the measured angular distributions. Excited states with J/sup ..pi../ = 0/sup +/, 2/sup +/, and 4/sup +/ exhaust approximately 100% of the strength expected in a 2d(5/2, 3s1/2, 2d(3/2 space.
