An instructional hydraulic analog of fission product poisoning dynamics

Reactor operator trainees frequently have difficulty visualizing fission product poison concentration rate equations and dynamics. A simple hydraulic analog is presented in this paper, which serves as an intermediate step, assisting trainees in understanding the rate equations and visualizing the dynamics.
