Use of process computer graphics during LOFT loss-of-coolant experiments

This paper describes computer graphics used during reactor transient testing at the Loss-of-Fluid Test (LOFT) Facility. All of the work described in this paper is being conducted at the Idaho National Engineering Laboratory (INEL) for the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC). A brief description of the LOFT program and INEL display graphics research programs are given. Next, real-time applications of computer graphics that have been used during LOFT testing are demonstrated. Finally, posttest LOFT computer graphics applications will be shown. 7 figs.
