In 3088 events of the reaction np..-->..p..pi../sup +/..pi../sup +/..pi../sup -/..pi../sup -/n at momentum 5.10 +- 0.17 GeV/c we have studied the effective mass spectra of ..delta../sup + +/..pi../sup +/(..delta../sup -/..pi../sup -/) combinations for the purpose of seeking and investigating exotic baryon resonances with isospin I = 5/2. Peaks are observed which exceed the background by 3--4 standard deviations at masses 1438, 1522, and 1894 MeV/c/sup 2/. The widths of these resonances are estimated as 23, < or =20, and < or =40 MeV/c/sup 2/, respectively. The sets of spins and parities for the resonance with mass 1438 MeV/c/sup 2/ are 3/2/sup + -/ and 5/2/sup + -/, and those for the resonance with mass 1522 MeV/c/sup 2/ are 1/2/sup + -/, 3/2/sup -/, and 5/2/sup +/. The cross sections for production of these resonances in the given reaction are equal to several microbarns. The results are compared with various theoretical models.
