Magnetoresistance in high-quality single-crystal films of YBa{sub 2}Cu{sub 3}O{sub 7{minus}{ital x}} studied in a temperature range {ital T}{sub {ital c}}{approx lt}T{approx lt}210 K is presented for magnetic field configurations both parallel and perpendicular to the conducting {ital ab} plane. The data are analyzed in terms of recent theories of superconducting fluctuations considering both orbital and Zeeman effects in Aslamazov-Larkin and Maki-Thompson terms. From the analysis, the phase-breaking time of carriers is determined to be {tau}{sub {rho}}=(1{plus minus}0.1){times}10{sup {minus}13} sec at 100 K with a {ital T} dependence of 1/{tau}{sub {rho}}{proportional to}T{sup 1{minus}2}. {xi}{sub {ital c}}(0)=1.5{plus minus}0.5 A and {xi}{sub {ital ab}}(0) =11.5{plus minus}0.5 A are also derived for the inter- and intralayer coherence lengths.
