Radiation heat transfer: Fundamentals and applications

The papers presented in this symposium volume illustrate the current state-of-the-art of research in radiation heat transfer and indicate current applications. Sixteen papers were presented at the two Radiation Heat Transfer Sessions, eight papers at the Radiation in Energy Systems Session, and one paper at the Heat Transfer in Space and Astronautical Systems Session of the 1990 AIAA/ASME thermophysics and Heat Transfer Conference, Seattle, Washington, June 18-20, 1990. For presentation in the volume, the papers have been grouped into the following categories: Radiative Properties, Radiation in Nonparticipating Media, Radiation in Multidimensional Systems, and Combined Heat Transfer Modes.
