The thermal conductivity of gaseous trifluoroiodomethane (CF{sub 3}I) is reported over the temperature range {minus}6.50 C to 63.55 C at pressures up to 1,000 kPa with an uncertainty of 3% using a transient hot-wire instrument employing two anodized tantalum wires as the heat source. The results were correlated as a function of temperature and density. The values for the thermal conductivity of the dilute gas and the saturated vapor are obtained by extrapolation.
