The B and W Owners Group (B and WOG) Cavity Dosimetry Benchmark Experiment was designed to provide accurate data from diverse neutron dosimetry in the cavity surrounding the reactor vessel and from two standard surveillance capsules located within the vessel. The dosimetry was irradiated for one fuel cycle of operation and analyzed. A detailed analysis using the DOT4.3 neutron transport code was then performed to obtain calculated dosimeter responses at each dosimeter location. This paper presents the comparison between measured and calculated dosimeter responses for both in-vessel and ex-vessel dosimetry, a description of the procedure to calculate the three-dimensional synthesized fluxes at each cavity dosimetry location, and the methodology to derive a groupwise correction factor for application to the analytical flux to achieve a more accurate prediction of the fast fluence at the pressure vessel.
