The article probes into initial aspects of algorithmic and program software support for an automated system of analysis and synthesis of distributed-parameter electrical power stations. The advantages of the method of variable states used as groundwork for developing an integrated design algorithm are highlighted. Computer-aided control priniples in design work based on a unitized structure of circuit data and a variant of language linking the user and the computer are outlined. 11 refs.
