A simple inexpensive movable Faraday cup is described. It is used for current measurements in pulsed electron beam accelerators. Current pulses of tens of killoamps, of 1-ns rise time and up to a few mega-electron-volts of electron energy, can be measured. This cup can be moved along the e-beam drift tube maintaining its response characteristics to study the e-beam evolution.
