The references listed in this bibliography were compiled during an independent assessment of environmental, legal, and political constraints on bulk electric power plant siting in the southwestern US. The references include articles from technical and law journals, environmental publications, and government documents. Also included are reports from various organizations. The bibliography is divided into seven categories: Research Aides, Need for Power Debate: Construction or Conservation, Socio-economic Issues, Indian Lands Development, Water Supply, Nuclear Power Issues, and Site Selection Process. The annotated references are followed by an author index.
