Equations of state of PBX-9404, LX-07, and RX-26-AF detonation products at pressures above detonation pressure

Overdriven detonation experiments on LX-07-2, PBX-9404, and RX-26-AF show the need to modify the currently used JWL EOS' when pressures above C-J are encountered in the detonation products. It appears that the overdriven detonation results on PBX-9404 can be used to approximate the overdriven state in other high HMX PBX's. Additional experiments may show that the Chapman/Jouguet theory itself must be modified. 15 figures.
