Using coherent anti-Stokes Raman spectroscopy to probe the temperature field of a combusting droplet stream
- Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, University of California, Irvine, Irvine, California 92717 (US)
We describe measurements using coherent anti-Stokes Raman scattering (CARS) of the local temperature field near a combusting droplet stream. Synchronizing the CARS measurements with the droplets in the steam permits correlations between the temperature field and the droplet position.
