The authors report measurements of the product channels of the reaction NCO + NO at room temperature. The NCO radical is formed by a laser photolysis process. It plays a key role in one proposed method for controlling NO{sub x}emissions from automobile exhaust systems. The most common product channels were found to be CO{sub 2} + N{sub 2}, CO + N{sub 2} + O, and N{sub 2}O + CO.
