Possibility of searching for Higgs boson in t-quarkonium decays

Journal Article · · Phys. Rev. D; (United States)
We study the decays of t-quarkonium V, with particular attention to Higgs-boson production. Decay modes such as V..--> gamma..(,Z/sup 0/..-->..H..gamma.., V..--> gamma..(,Z/sup 0/..-->..H /sup 3/S/sub 1/(UPSILON,psi), and V..-->..Z/sup 0/..-->..Hl/sup +/l/sup -/ are also considered. These rates are found to be very small in the minimal (one-Higgs-doublet) model. We discuss shortly the consequences of a composite model for the Higgs boson and of enhanced coupling constants of a light Higgs boson to fermions in a two-Higgs-doublet scheme. The implications of a possible mixing between V and Z/sup 0/ on the production of V in e/sup +/e/sup -/ collisions as well as in p-barp collisions are considered.
