Measurement of the mass and width of the Z sup 0 boson at the Fermilab Tevatron

An analysis of {ital Z}{sup 0}{r arrow}e{sup +}e{sup {minus}} and {ital Z}{sup 0}{r arrow}{mu}{sup +}{mu}{sup {minus}} data from the Collider Detector at Fermilab in {ital {bar p}p} collisions at {radical}{ital s} =1.8 TeV yields a mass of the {ital Z}{sup 0} boson of {ital M}{sub {ital Z}}=90.9{plus minus}0.3 (stat+syst){plus minus}0.2 (scale) GeV/{ital c}{sup 2} and a width of {Gamma}{sub {ital z}}=3.8{plus minus}0.8{plus minus}1.0 GeV.
