The effects of hydrodynamics on domain growth and scaling in a two-dimensional binary fluid are studied. Using a Langevin model for the binary fluid, we find a narrow range for the value of the fluid--order-parameter coupling below which domains grow asymptotically as {ital t}{sup 1/3} (Lifshitz-Slyozov) and above which they grow as {ital t}{sup 0.46{plus_minus}.02} and {ital t}{sup 0.72{plus_minus}.02} for off-critical and critical quenches, respectively. The small {ital x} behavior of the scaled structure function varies as a function of this coupling.
