We discuss the possibilities of detecting natural neutrinos of energies 1--10/sup 7/ TeV which pass through the Earth and induce extensive air showers on the other side. The global penetration coefficients are calculated for neutrinos incident from various directions taking into account the structure of the Earth. The high-energy muon fluxes and the generation functions of showers induced by neutrinos exiting the Earth at various zenith angles are calculated. We discuss physical problems which can be solved using information from neutrino-induced extensive air showers, i.e., the search for discrete astrophysical sources at E-italic<10 --10/sup 3/ TeV and measurement of diffuse fluxes at E-italic>10/sup 4/ TeV. The possibilities of detecting neutrinos using extensive air showers and muons in underground and deep-water setups are compared. The possibility of detecting a neutrino flux generated by interactions between protons of superhigh energies and relic photons using the Fly's Eye detector is discussed.
