The orbital-free molecular dynamics model is used in a finite temperature extension of Kirshnits {bold (}Zh. Eksp. Teor. Fiz. {bold 32}, 115 (1957) [Sov. Phys. JETP {bold 5}, 64 (1957)]{bold )} to compute the equation of state of a hydrogen plasma. The pressures, corrected to account for the nontransferability of the pseudopotential, are in a good agreement with existing theories.
