Unsteady MHD flow of a conducting fluid in spiral channels of circular cross section

Journal Article · · Magnetohydrodynamics (Engl. Transl.); (United States)
OSTI ID:5521848
A one-dimensional laminar unsteady flow of a viscous incompressible electrically conducting fliud in a spiral channel of a circular cross section with rigid conducting walls located in a radial constant magnetic field is studies (Fig. 1). The conductivities of the wall and of the medium surrounding the wall are close to the conductivity of the fluid.
