Superconformal anomalies in the superspace of simple supergravity

A class of supersymmetric theories that include interaction with an external supergravitational field and are invariant at the classical level under a group of generalized superconformal transformations is considered. For these theories a technique is proposed for calculating the anomalous local supermultiplet of the trace that appears in the supercurrent-conservation equation as a result of breaking of the superconformal invariance. One-loop superconformal anomalies are found for the following cases: a massless chiral superfield, the massless Wess-Zumino model, and a massless real scalar superfield, all interacting with external N-italic = 1 supergravity.
