The method is described of killing production of an oil and/or gas well through a well conduit which consists of: inserting a safety valve in the well conduit in the open position, actuating the safety valve to the closed position by an increase of the pressure outside of the conduit relative the pressure on the inside of the conduit, after the valve is closed establishing communication of fluid from the outside of the conduit to the inside of the conduit above the safety valve by pressure in the conduit below the closed safety valve and injecting fluid from the outside of the conduit through the communication path and through the safety valve to kill production through the conduit.
