The report was prepared as part of the Ohio River Basin Energy Study (ORBES), a multidisciplinary policy research program. The siting model developed for ORBES is specifically designed for regional policy analysis. The region includes 423 counties in an area that consists of all of Kentucky and substantial portions of Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia. This volume contained detailed schedules of county-level sites and on-line dates for coal-fired and nuclear-fueled generating unit additions for each ORBES scenario.
