Decay eta. --> pi. /sup 0/. gamma gamma. in a model of mesons with quark loops

The decays of mesons which proceed through quark loops are described by means of a model based on consideration of four-quark interactions. The decays rho..-->..eta..gamma.., ..omega -->..eta..gamma.., eta'..-->..rho..gamma.., eta'..--> omega gamma.., delta..--> gamma gamma.., delta..-->..eta..pi.., and eta..--> pi../sup 0/..gamma gamma.. are calculated. It is assumed that the role of the fictitious sigma particles in the chiral sigma model is played by the physical resonances epsilon-c and delta. The prediction for the width of the decay eta..--> pi../sup 0/..gamma gamma.. is in good agreement with recent experimental data.
