Union Carbide Corp.'s Emergency Response System for hazardous material spills called HELP, is a system of highly trained individuals who respond to transportation emergencies involving Union Carbide products. These experts provide advice or on-the-scene physical assistance to prevent a hazardous materials incident from turning into a disaster. The HELP system works in tandem with Chemtrec, the Chemical Transportation Emergency Information Center operated by the Chemical Manufacturers Association.
