The energy overview illustrates energy production and consumption by source for 1973-1993, and U.S. energy prices for 1992-1993. Reserves, production, and consumption of natural gas are characterized by region. The crude oil analysis presents statistics of petroleum products by sector, future prices, and sales by end use. Statistics of housing and appliances include housing completions by type of fuel, fuel choice, appliances by fuel type, and other heating and cooling equipment data. Economic indicators characterize manufacturing; construction and housing; prices, interest rates, and unemployment rate; and trade.
