A lagrangian photochemical air quality simulation model: adaptation to the St. Louis - Raps Data Base. Volume II. User's manual. Final report

Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:5485326

A set of instructions have been compiled for use of a Lagrangian photochemical air quality simulation model adapted to the St. Louis, Missouri/Illinois metropolitan region and the Regional Air Pollution Study (RAPS) data base. The computer model, developed by Environmental Research and Technology, Inc., consists of a set of computer programs for the simulation of atmospheric transport, turbulent diffusion, and chemical kinetics of photochemical pollutants. The model is used to predict atmospheric concentrations of ozone, nitrogen dioxide, carbon monoxide, sulfur dioxide, and sulfate within an air column moving at the mean wind speed. Descriptions of the meteorological, source emissions, and air quality data requirements, as well as sample input and output files, are provided. the computational procedures for using the model and a listing of the computer code are included.
