Rational utilization of coke-oven gas

The problem of future coke-oven gas usage is discussed. It can replace a proportion of the natural gas now used in blast-furnace plants. By developing large-tonnage equipment operating on coke-oven gas it should be possible to reduce the capital and running costs of synthetic ammonia production.
