Radionuclides of Columbia River origin in marine organisms, sediments, and water collected from the coastal and offshore waters of Washington and Oregon, 1961-1963

Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:5479529
A program was conducted to determine the distribution of Hanford-produced radionuclides in the marine environment. Zinc-65 measurements were made in coastal organisms, offshore plankton, demersal fish, and water collected in surveys in 1961 through 1963. The ratio of /sup 51/Cr to /sup 65/Zn in water samples was determined. Annual, seasonal, and areal differences were studied. Other radionuclides also determined included /sup 32/P, fallout radionuclides, and /sup 40/K.
