Point contact spectroscopy of Re--Os and Re--W alloys

The method of point contact spectroscopy is used to investigate electron--phonon interaction in the solid solutions Re--Os and Re--W. It is found that alloying rhenium with tungsten leads to the appearance of singularities in the low-frequency region of the spectrum in the form of quasilocal oscillations; introduction of osmium displaces the rhenium spectrum into the high-energy range.
